Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen: Elizabeth and James shoes

Mary-Kate Olsen at front row seat at Proenza Schouler fall ‘09 line, but showed off something new of her and sister Ashley’s own design: Elizabeth and James shoes! A pair of black suede wedge heels from the new Elizabeth and James shoe line due out this spring. Mary-Kate’s pair are actually a prototype directly from the factory and is the line’s take on an ankle bootie, but with a sexy cut-out to show more skin. Stella McCartney to launch exclusive collection for net-a-porter

If you have already snapped up the pieces you loved from Stella's spring/summer 09 collection (lucky you!) and won't be able to wait until August for the new autumn/ winter 09 collection that Stella will debut on the catwalk in Paris next week (Monday 9th March to be precise) to hit stores, get an extra Stella fix this season when net-a-porter launches an exclusive collaboration with the designer later this spring.

In what net-a-porter founder Natalie Massanet describes today on WWD as the website's 'most significant commercial endeavor to date', Stella is going to create a collection of, say, net-a-porter, 'everything you need', for the woman who wants to build a wardrobe.

The pieces are still under wraps, but net-a-porter promise to reveal all soon.

The Indian beauty has been wowing us with her red carpet style, so she was a natural choice to be the March 2009 cover girl of Vogue India.

She looks gorgeous on the cover, wearing a cute embellished mini dress from Louis Vuitton's Spring 2009 collection. The dress also has cut-outs, metallics and sheer capped shoulders, which work with dark lips and soft curls. I would have loved to see her full-length in this dress.

On begin recognised for her style: "I’ve become so much more aware of the fashion world recently — and I’m doomed now. There’s no turning back."

On her own style mantra: "You’ve got to go with instinct, the right dress will make your heart skip a beat. You’ve got to fall in love with what you’re wearing to really pull it off."

At the Vogue shoot, when a reporter asked stylist Tina Laakkonen why Pinto isn't being dressed exclusively in Indian fashion, Pinto grabbed a pencil and scribbled her answer on a scrap of paper, 'Because she's international now!'
