Reiss F/W 10.11: Ad Campaign
Launch of the AW10 collection, notable British fashion brand REISS has collaborated with renowned photographer and filmmaker, Jamie Morgan, to create an artistic short film called “Elements” that highlights the feel and aesthetic of the upcoming men’s and women’s collections. Featured models include Natasa Vojnovic and Isaac Carew. Shot on the Phantom HD at Big Sky, London.
The creative inspiration came as the result of an artistic collaboration with Jamie Morgan, who founded London’s creative collective ‘Buffalo’ in the 1980’s. Models brave the weather elements – rain, wind, snow protected only by a sleek modernist REISS wardrobe. “Elements” is a fantastical, dark, sexy celebration of the seasonal changes that take us in to Autumn/Winter.

Behind-The-Scences
Jamie Morgan began his career as a photographer. He was the founder of London's creative collective "Buffalo", a group who changed the nature of image making through its pioneering work in The Face magazine shooting more covers than any other photographer to date. He shot covers for music stars such as Boy George, Sade, Soul II Souls, Neneh Cherry, and many more. He also created campaigns for the likes of Levis, Puma and many others, and has worked with many designers from Comme des Garcon to J P Gaultier.
Buffalo had a major respective exhibition at the V&A Museum in London, along with the release of the 'Buffalo Book'.
2007 has seen the culmination of Jamie's talent as a director with his debut feature film "The Workshop", a provocative and personal documentary/drama, exploring sexuality and the human need for self- discovery. This film was a big hit at Tribeca film festival and won the Volunteers award. He made two other full-length Documentary features both about cutting edge alternative culture.
After a long and diverse creative Journey, Jamie has returned to his first love, photography. 2009 saw the 25 year celebration of Buffalo, which included a dedicated Arena Homme Plus issue and the cover story of Tavi (teenage blogger) in Pop magazine.
This season is a step forward for Reiss with a collection we are really excited about. Showing our key products in this new and innovative way felt right for where we are going, as a way of capturing all the energy and excitement that is apparent throughout every aspect of our brand. And generally, if we’re this excited about it, I’m confident that our customers will be too.” - David Reiss
