Trunk Archive: Patrick Demarchelier & Arthur Elgort

Trunk Archive, an image licensing company based in New York City, announces that it has entered into an exclusive arrangement with Condé Nast to license a selection of works from their existing Patrick Demarchelier and Arthur Elgort archives.

Patrick Demarchelier has been a Condé Nast photographer for fifteen of the last twenty-five years. His images have graced hundreds of covers and countless pages of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Allure and Teen Vogue. Mr. Demarchelier is known internationally as a master photographer whose images repeatedly capture a spontaneous vitality within his subjects. He has photographed many of the world’s most visible cultural icons,including Keith Richards, Madonna, Paul Newman, Diana the Princess of Wales, Angelina Jolie and Robert Altman. Patrick Demarchelier’s photographs have been shown in galleries and museums around the world and his work has been published in many noted photography books.

Arthur Elgort is one of the world’s most prominent and respected fashion photographers. During his long and reputable career at Condé Nast he has photographed many of the world’s most noted supermodels including Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. His work has been exhibited internationally and is in the permanent collections of the International Center of Photography in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. In addition to his fashion photography Mr. Elgort has spent many years photographing ballet students and jazz musicians. He has directed three documentaries and published numerous books.
