This book should have Venus De Light doing her half man/half woman act she performed in Las Vegas in Minsky's Burlesque, Playboys Girls of Rock and Roll, the Tokyo Hilton and all over the US and Canada! She also was famous for her champagne bath show , fire eating, and her fan dancing. If it was not for Venus De Light keeping Burlesque alive from 1980 till she retired in 2000 with the Exotic Dance Hall of Fame award and the Burlesque Lifetime Achievement Award and the Golden G-String award, burlesque may well have died completely. She also helped discover Dita Von Teese and had her in one of her Las Vegas productions back in 1999!
